Campinas Brazil Temple Video

My video for the Campinas Brazil Temple is finished!

Once again, it wasn’t until I finished I noticed some of the issues, and a future version will correct those, but for now, another one finished.

Progress So Far

Finishing one got me wondering where I was at. Keeping in Mind, that the “Announced” temples cannot be modeled until the Church reveals the design, here is where I am at

Basically, I have 124 Temples done, with 9 I am redoing or want to redo, and 49 in progress (44 not counting Kirtland, Endowment House, Original Nauvoo, Independence, Far West and Adam-ondi-ahman.) I have 60 apparently left to do, but only 46 to catch up to the number the church has completed!

Saturday at Sao Paulo Brazil

Sao Paulo Brazil Temple, like many of the Central and South America temples, suffers from a lack of good reference material. For most of these temples I would say it’s a poverty issue, in that members probably don’t own digital cameras, or internet, so when there are photos they are low rez or poorly focused. With this temple, there are plenty of photos, but the grounds are so narrow and restricting that there are not many places to take photos from. Consequently, there are very few reference photos of the rear exterior, or the south side of the temple, and I have not found any of the north side that were not taken from across the street. Still, I worked in the details I could so as best as I could today.

Monday at Campinas Brazil. Again

I showed an update on this back a month or two ago, but I added it into the roster this marathon anyway.

Details, details, details. That’s what this one was all about. The spire is done now, and most of the landscaping. I still may want to add some detail to the Accommodation Center (assuming I can find some good photos,) and I need to plant the garden. The Temple itself needs the front doors and the inscription, then it is basically done!

Monday at Campinas Brazil

Well, this is later than I hoped it would be. I have been working late on a Christmas present after the kids go to bed, so I forget things in my sleepy haze. Here you go though. I worked on Campinas Brazil Monday. I am probably going to go to 3 a week posting, and in a sort of almost alphabetical fashion. Well, Monday was back in Brazil. I added material and worked on trying to get the terrain figured out. Here are my progressive renders:

Just for fun, here is a bonus shot showing the new stone texture at work, and some of the temple’s detail work.

What Day of the Week Is This at Sao Paulo Brazil?

Oh, Wednesday. My computer tells me it’s Wednesday. We are dealing with sick kids, and the 3 month old has been cranky unless she is held. However I did have some time to work today.  Sao Pauolo should be an easy temple. I was limited on time beut even then the time I did have saw great progress. Here is October’s render:

And here is today’s. I went with a later time of day so you could see some of the progress better:
