Description

Iloilo City is the capital of Iloilo province in Central Philippines. The city is about 400 miles south of Manila.

History

Church growth in the Philippines has been among the fastest in the world since it officially opened for missionary work in 1961. The Temple was announced in conjunction with 14 other temples.

It was the 12th temple announced for the Philippines. Teguegarao Philippines temple was announced at just before it was.

The Church announced on 23 February 2026 that Iloilo Philippines Temple will be constructed on 7.7 acres at Circumferential Road 1, Green Meadows, in Barangay Tacas, Jaro District, Province of Iloilo, Philippines.
