Salt Lake Temple – 2002/01/29

This photoset was taken just a week or two before the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. As such, the Christmas lights were still up and turned on, so I was able to get images of the lights on the grounds with no crowds. Truly a rare event! Sadly, the negatives in this set were damaged in a flood. Despite me working for Kodak at the time, and have both the knowledge and tools to recover a fair amount of the negatives, there are still water damage marks that I could recover. All in all, though, this is a good photoshoot! Check it out!

Provo Utah – 2001/11/14

This is one of the best film shoots I ever did. That it also records the original look of the Provo Temple, with the Bronze colored spire, is a bonus to me. This set will become even more precious to me once reconstruction of the temple has begun, and the original structure is gone for good.

This is the first temple I attended for myself, and this original configuration will hold a special place in my heart. But this version is already gone in my mind, and I understand that sometimes we don’t know all the reasons something has to happen.
