Naga City is located about 250 miles southeast of Manila. There are more than 833,000 Latter-day Saints in more than 1,250 congregations in the Philippines. On October 2, 2022, President Russell M. The temple was announced concurrently with 17 others.

On 23 February 2026, in conjunction with the location announcement, the render was released for the Naga Philippines Temple.
The Naga Philippines Temple will be built on a 9.11-acre site on Lot 1045-A-1-A in Barangay Concepcion Grande, located in the city of Naga, Bicol, Philippines.
