The Hamburg Germany Temple will be the first temple built in Germany since its reunification. The Freiberg Germany Temple was dedicated in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany), and the Frankfurt Germany Temple was dedicated in the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany).

Description
Hamburg is about 175 miles northwest of Berlin. The country was home to nearly 40,000 Latter-day Saints in about 150 congregations at the time of the announcement.

On 2 April 2023, President Russell M. It will be the third House of the Lord constructed in Germany., following Freiberg (1985) and Frankfurt (1987).
