Logan Utah Temple as it would have looked after an annex expansion in 1915. By this time, most of the pink colored ‘whitewash’ had weathered away, thought there is some evidence that the lower course remained white for some time. This model features a new entrance on the annex that would be expanded just a few short years later. Also of note is the towers that were a tan color for most of the first half of the 20th century.
Very nice. I am most amazed at seeing through the windows and seeing the rooms.
The windows will continue to show the interior for this temple up until the Fetzer renovation. Besides being a modernist, Fetzer had no love for natural light. As such, his annex additions for Mesa, Logan and St. George had windows that were all fake. At Logan, all the original windows were covered up with walls from the inside, blacking them out. He likely did the same thing at St. George, but I am not sure.
Anyway, as I already did a video of the Original Logan interior I figured I would just keep the model there until I hit the 1970s.
