Laie Hawaii Temple was small when it was originally dedicated. It would stay small like this through World War 2, after which it would receive its first expansion.

Absolutely beautiful. One thing: there was a short pillar in the fountain by the front door that had a globe light like the ones along the walks to the temple. They later turned it into the thing that is there today, but originally it was the final globe leading you to the temple. Nevertheless less, the is gorgeous.
