Much progress was mad on the Newport California Temple model today. The entryway is all that is left to be modeled on the temple itself. The grounds are a bit complex and will take more time. I started on the leaf motif that circles around the upper portion of the temple. You can see it here as a light pink band that runs through the darker pink portion of the temple. The rest of that should go quickly now that I have the shape figured out. The dome over the Celestial room is now how I need it to be, and the bottom half of the spire is done. It’s always nice when they start to look like their namesakes.
