Announcement
On April 6, 2025, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct the Flagstaff Arizona Temple at the 195th Annual General Conference. It will be the second house of the Lord in the state. The temple was announced in conjunction with 14 other temples.

Location Announced
The location of the Flagstaff Arizona Temple was announced 20 January 2026. The temple will be built on a 10.43-acre site at the southwest corner of Butler Ave. and S. Fourth St., Flagstaff, Arizona.
